SAINT ANTHONY OF PADUA CHURCH
Nested in the heart of the town of Baabdath with its beautiful frescoes dating back to the beginning of the 20th Century, Saint Anthony of Padua Church is home for Les Musicales de Baabdath during the concerts period thanks to the support of the Capuchin Parish in Baabdath.
Baabdath is located up the hills of Metn District in Mount Lebanon at an average altitude of 950 meters above sea level, and is 22 KM away from Beirut. It is accessible via several roads mainly the Metn Express Highway (23-minute drive from Beirut Central District). The fast route makes access to the concerts hassle free, particularly in autumn when the traffic is light and the weather pleasant.
To reach Saint Anthony of Padua Church located on Street 11-C, 362, signs leading to the church and marked ‘Les Musicales de Baabdath’ are posted on the way to the venue.
During the entire concerts season, parking service is an option. Attendees can drop their cars at the main gate of the church against a valet service fee of 5,000 LBP.
All concerts take place in Baabdath except for the November 1st trumpet and pipe organ performance which takes place in Beirut at the Assembly Hall of the American University of Beirut (AUB) and thanks to its support.
