Dear friends and music lovers,

As Les Musicales de Baabdath celebrates its 10th anniversary edition, we are proud to mark a decade of bringing outstanding music to Lebanon, fostering artistic exchange, and reaffirming our belief in the power of music to unite people across cultures.

Since its inception, the festival has welcomed exceptional Lebanese and international musicians, presented a rich diversity of musical traditions, and created opportunities for audiences to discover new works and extraordinary artists. Despite the difficult circumstances that forced us to cancel three editions last minute, our commitment has never wavered. This anniversary is not only a celebration of what we have achieved, but also a tribute to the perseverance of Lebanon’s cultural life and to everyone who has helped keep music alive.

Under the patronage of the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism, the 10th anniversary edition brings together an outstanding lineup of artists, spanning classical music, chamber music, jazz, and oriental music. From the opening concert featuring pianist Iyad Sughayar with the Lebanese National Philharmonic Orchestra, to the festival’s international collaborations and special performances in Baabdath, Beirut, and Tripoli, this year’s programme reflects the breadth, vitality, and openness that have defined our journey.

At the heart of the festival remains our commitment to Lebanese musical excellence. We are proud within the scope of this 10th Anniverary Edition, to showcase established artists and emerging talents, celebrate Lebanese composers, and welcome international musicians whose presence enriches our musical landscape.

None of this would be possible without our devoted partners, patrons, sponsors, artists, volunteers, and friends in Baabdath, across Lebanon, and around the world. Your trust and generosity have enabled Les Musicales de Baabdath to pursue its mission over the years and to keep the joy of live music accessible to all.

We are particularly proud that the 2026 edition is co-funded by the European Union, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, under the Culture for All project, reaffirming our shared commitment to making culture accessible to everyone.

As we celebrate this important milstone, we look forward to the next chapter with renewed determination and hope. May the music continue to bring us together, inspire future generations, and remind us that culture is not a luxury, but an essential part of our shared humanity.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Sleiman Corbani
