SACHA MORIN

First Prize Winner of the International Competition “Les Virtuoses du Cœur” in 2024 and a member of the Philippe Jaroussky Academy, Sacha Morin has been hailed as “french revelation ” (Thierry Hillériteau, Le Figaro, avril 2025).

Admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) at the age of 17, Sacha studies with Claire Désert and works regularly with renowned pianists such as François-Frédéric Guy, David Fray, Jean-Philippe Collard, Marc Laforêt, Boris Berman, and Florent Boffard.

Sacha performs extensively across Europe and beyond, with recent highlights including solo recitals at iconic venues such as the Salle Molière in Lyon, Salle Cortot in Paris, the Bragadiru and Mogosoaia Palaces in Bucharest, the Opéra de Saint-Étienne, and the Mucem in Marseille, and the Orangerie de Bagatelle. He is a sought-after artist in leading festivals, including La Roque d’Anthéron, L’Offrande Musicale, Les Musicales de Redon, the George Enescu Festival, the Festival des Arcs, the Chopin Festival, and the International Festival of Beauvais.

At just 12 years old, Sacha made his orchestral debut with the Orchestre d’Auvergne under the direction of Ariane Matiakh. Since then, he has performed with esteemed conductors like Bruno Mantovani. In 2021, he performed Bach’s Double Concerto BWV 1061 at the Nuits Pianistiques Festival in Aix-en-Provence.

In addition to solo performances and collaborations with orchestras, Sacha is a frequent performer in chamber music ensembles. He has shared the stage with eminent musical figures such as Philippe Jaroussky, Anne Gastinel, David Grimal, Diemut Poppen, Philippe Cassard. He collaborates regularly with Michel Dalberto, with whom he performed a four hands recital at the L’Autre Saison festival and at the Festival des Arcs in 2024. Composer François Meïmoun dedicated a concerto for two pianos to Morin and Dalberto, who are set to premiere the work in 2025 in Mexico. Sacha will also take part in the world premiere of Pierre Boulez’s “Visage Nuptial” (first version) in January 2025.

Sacha’s artistry has been widely lauded by critics. In October 2023, Le Monde described him as a “19-year-old prodigy pianist” in an article highlighting his trio performance alongside Anne Gastinel and David Grimal, which was also announced on the Matinale de France Musique. That same year, Diapason dedicated a feature to him in their Young Talents section, while the Enescu Festival highlighted him in its official magazine, Revista Festivalului. He has been featured on France Musique, with appearances on Un Été Classique (2021), hosted by Philippe Cassard, and Générations France Musique (2022), where he performed works by Berg and Schubert.
